Not only is it a violation of American rights, but it’s also just nonexistent?
It’s just bad research done by some guy, Mark Simon, who believes that Congress will pass a bill that allows people to buy artwork that aren’t copyrighted or whatever.

While it is just a possibility, so I guess it’s okay for the artist community to fret, but not exaggerate the matter at hand… Though, I think the danger has passed, yes? I certainly hope so. So really, just a false alarm fellas. (But still, it’s nice to see how everyone was so motivated to stop this “act” from passing. :9)

Piano

So instead of writing my essay, I was re-watching anime, Gurren Lagaan to be specific. During episode 25 (I started with episode 16, mind you), I heard this background music of one of the classic TTGL songs played with a piano. And so…

I think I want to learn to play piano.
I’ve been meaning to, ever since I set Allegro Cantabile from Nodame Cantabile as my cellphone ringtone and this only inspires me even more. I’ve found a couple of websites with sheet music, like josh’s or ichigo’s anime/game sheet music so that I can play anime songs. XD;; (Not that I can read sheet music.. but it’s never too late to learn, right?) I’ve also been wanting to take piano because a couple of my friends would be next year too. :3 Aah, so could this be fate? .. No, probably not.

… But that doesn’t change my mindset, so I think I’ll change my electives from Chinese to Piano. ♥
…But before that, I still have an essay to write. ;A;

I want to play badminton.

I think I’ll skip Monday’s review sessions just to play singles.
If I win, I’ll keep skipping. If lose, I’ll punish myself by going to two extra hours worth of history.

Oh yea, I was reading this manga about badminton and this ultra love-square(?). It makes me laugh… at it, that is.

Insanity is contagious

Warning: Fangirl Rant.
Soul Eater Episode 3. This took forever to get subbed and published. (Four days is a long time for a fangirl who knows the raw is out) I’m not sure if it was really worth the wait even. I had been anticipating the episode, because in the preview for Episode three, Miyano Mamoru’s voice was quite appealing and really suited Death the Kid’s voice. But after watching the episode, it wasn’t really how I imagined it. Other voices were like that too for this episode, they sounded really out of character — the only exceptions being Tsubaki, Liz, and Patty.

I also have a higher expectation of the anime now that I’ve caught up to the latest scanlation for the manga. (Which is ironic, because I read the manga because I saw the anime first… and now, I’m not used to their voices??)

Then again, this is episode three: the prologue of the entire series. I’m looking forward to next week. ;9 As long as the wait wouldn’t be as long again.~~

EDIT// I was looking at the seiyuus (japanese voice actors) for the cast of Soul Eater. And I found out that Chrona’s seiyuu is Maaya Sakamoto, who was Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran. ♥ That makes me even more excited for the series. And!! Toru Ohkawa, Roy Mustang: Fullmetal Alchemist, is Death Scythe! *anticipation* ♥

Tags & Dreams

I’m not good with tags. At All. Just so you know. Oh, and “offline” refers to the real life stuff It’s grand. I doubt it’d have anything emotional… Unless something really irks me, which I doubt it would.

I have dreams I want to accomplish. For example, I want to go to a live orchestra one day, or live recital, or live concour (music competition). I also want to go to see plays/musicals more. (I went to one live last time, Footloose: the musical, and I had a great time). Mind you, these are just my simple and easy-to-reach dreams; I’m not really such a simple person I think. I want to make friends through a badminton war.. One of those cheesy “friendship through battle” thing, right? I also have a goal for when I’m 21: I’ll go into a bar and ask for orange juice. There’s more wishes I have, but I think these are the ones attainable and that I want at the moment…

Ah, my hour disappeared again. Time flies, geez.

Reading

I used to be a reader… I wonder what happened, hahaha. I hardly touch books now… Well, except for the ones that are assigned to us, but I can’t exactly say I read them… Not to mention, they’re boring sometimes.

But recently (like… yesterday-recently), I read something for sheer entertainment and it left me quite emotional and choked by the angst that occurred in the new development. It left me wondering: should I read books again? .. wow. That was a really sad question. Okay, I’ll rephrase it: should I read more than what I do nowadays?

It’ll probably help my engrish skills too. I’m doubtful about this though, since I’m very lazy “easily unmotivated”… The characters have to appeal to me and all. It has to be fruitful and vibrant! Yes, I’m a demanding reader. But that’s easy to solve. If I can get attached to anime characters easily, reading and getting attached shouldn’t be hard, yes? maybe? Okay, so now that I got that settled… What would I read…?

EDIT// Reading good fan-fiction also makes me want to draw too. I guess it’s a good source of bunnies (ideas)! :9

Number three

Apparently, there was a big scandal over Code Geass Episode 3. The five minutes towards the end of the episode was leaked a couple days (monday, was it?) before it went on air. The person responsible for this mishap was fired and the animation company that produces Code Geass had to decide whether it should completely redo the end, show episode four, or keep it the same. In the end, they decided to keep it the same, which I’m thankful for because otherwise, we would have had a delay and… it would have been extremely troublesome for fans. ;D

That’s just the gist of it. I don’t really know what exactly happened… but I felt that was really all to that story.

Anyways. I just finished the episode a couple minutes ago. I’m glad they didn’t adjust the episode. Though I have to say I’m somewhat confused by the development… (Especially with the Chinese Federation) I guess that only makes sense because that’s pretty much what the company wanted to make sure we keep watching, hahaha.

But… I still don’t really have a clue who’s the bad guy. There’s definitely two side conflicting against each other, but which side is good? Or maybe there’s really no “good” or “bad” between the two parties, because they both have done something bad so you can’t draw a line to clarify them? I suppose we’ll have to keep watching to see. :p

Jellybean Letters

Have you ever written a letter to yourself? Directed towards the future? About the “past”?

Isn’t it amusing to rediscovered these letters? To read through them, and later construct a response to them? And then, spend time in idleness to wait for a reply?

I only mention this because I found a letter addressed to the “future”, signed by the “past” me. It asked of my regrets, my welfare, how much I’ve changed, how much time has past… I couldn’t help but be amused by this letter from only two months ago. Of course, I returned a reply. Now, the only thing I can do is wait for the response. :]

*gawk* This is so pretty. ♥ I wonder how long before I’d space out, but we’ll see, right? I suppose? I… love making blogs, but sadly I never really keep up with them, I wonder if I could do something about this one?? :9

I think I’ll just put whatever I want here.

So um, yea. instead of studying and jazz, I’m making a blog and typing on it (and am currently spacing out too). well, that’s a wonderful first impression.
