Play with a smile, goddammit.
Today, we played against Encinal in Alameda. Our school won. Surprisingly. Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun playing. I think that might have been the most fun I’ve ever had playing badminton. .. Maybe. I think I also enjoy actual competitions against schools, but this came out to be extra extra fun.

Seven days…
I finished Final Fantasy (reached 98%, didn’t feel like going to level 99 to beat Zodiark, that sonovagun.)
The plot was kind of… disappointing. The graphics and stuff was cute, I guess. But the plot wasn’t as engaging as other FF game plots. Maybe my expectations were too high, I don’t know. So with my disappointment, I started The World Ends With You.
And I am officially addicted.
I got passed the first seven days in a less than a day’s time. I loved the music. It was unexpected, catchy, and one of the best aspects of the game. I loved the style in which the characters interact (which is little comic bubbles.. cute.. XD) I loved the unusual battle system. Most of all, I love the shopping! hahaha

Sechuan, China
It’s scary… To think that such a high magnitude earthquake struck and killed so many people in the eastern hemisphere. … Can’t help but just think about what would happen in the future.
There was a story about a girl, who was on the second floor of her school, lying next to the dead body of her classmate. She was still alive, even after two days, but I’m sure being there next to the dead body of someone you know must have been very traumatizing. D:
…One thing that absolutely makes me sick though are the news reporters for this disaster.
There was a girl was stuck under the debris. She was calling out for help and it took the rescue team a while to find her. I suppose the news reporter was there when she was discovered; because he went over to where her voice was coming from, and asked her all these useless questions (like “How are you? How long have you been there? What happened? Are you hurt?”) while she was saying the entire time, “Mister… Could I have some water please..? Please Mister. I haven’t eaten for a long time…May I have a cup of water?” It was disgusting. Stop asking questions and give her a damn cup of water!
On a lighter note: Legalized Gay Marriage in California!! Yay for liberals. ;D

MUKYA–!!
Nodame: Paris Chapter
Premiere: October, ‘08.
Will be loved and looked forward to. 8D
I’m pretty sure I fell deeper in love with classical music thanks to Nodame. While the art isn’t what I’m normally use to, I still love it because the plot is absolutely fantastic. XD
Translation: READ IT, … Chubi.

Aria’s last episode
So, while I’m angsting about fma, I’ll write about Aria, as I finished it rather recently ago.
The animation quality improved, though I find that I prefer the older artwork more than the newer version but it’s still all eye candy, I suppose.
I felt the last episode, episode 13, was too revolved around Alicia, rather than Akari; because, I mean, it’s supposed to be Akari’s story, after all. It really felt like Alicia stole the spotlight. I’m pretty sure they rushed the last episode.
Also, Ai. … I can’t say I’ve liked her. She was a brat in the beginning, then she turns into some cheesy little girl, and finally into a Pair for Aria Company. :[ Her character at the end of the series was too much like Akari. Also, their conversation at the end makes it seem as if their relationship weren’t as close. Say for instance, would Ai really blush from embarrassment simply because of Akari’s stare? :/ I don’t really think so, but maybe that’s just my opinion. D:
Regardless, I find it cute that Akari said the same thing that Alicia said. ;A; “I’m just a little bit happy, that’s all *chuckle/smile*” But even if she says that, Aika’s still my favorite out of the three main. (I could’ve sworn her prima-name was “Rozen Maiden” though, it sounds weird as “Rozen Queen”. :B)
Overall, it was a cute series. I’m glad I watched it. It was carefree, Venetian (♥), and a simple day-to-day kind of anime. XD
One last note: Al looks weird tall. Hahaha.

The World Ends With You
….Also known as Subarashiki Kono Sekai, “this wonderful world”.
*random theme music?* Another squeenix game in my possessions! ♥ ♥
Of course, I have yet to actually play it– because I know that if I do, I’ll never finish Final Fantasy XII for DS. — But I’ve been eyeing this game for a while, long before I realized US licensed it and would be importing it. Why? Because the character designs are similar to KHs (since both games have the same design team, but still). I first saw the game through a fanart, hahaha, and it obviously caught my attention.
So, now, I have to beat FF12 and get on with it. D:< even if it is sitting on my desk… provoking me. ;_;

And it’s over!!
… It’s over. It’s over. Thank goodness. ♥
Btw, I went to Angel Island for camping yesterday. The major highlights (or rather a short summary?), in order, were: getting lost, missed the ferry, but somehow still managing to make it there; torturous hike proving how out-of-shape I am; going to the beach and poking dead jellyfishes; getting the fire started and failing and making dinner: hot dogs; sunset; roasting S’mores and burning marshmallows; whipping each other with glow sticks; believing that the chimney of an abandoned house looked like a man, i.e. chimney man; running from mysterious forest manimals (a raccoon?) while trying to get water; getting our marshmallows stolen by raccoons D: ; sleep-talking; star gazing; passing out; waking up and leaving.
.. We did a lot. Kinda sorta.
