Taiyou no Uta & Wall-E
I definitely fell in love with these two movies.
The first one features YUI (one of my favorite artists) as a girl diagnosed with XP, a certain disease where the person inflicted cannot live under the sun/UV rays without suffering from severe burns, mental breakdown, paralysis, etc. It’s a bittersweet story about “Amane Kaoru” living life as best as she could. It even had me in tears at the end when “Good-Bye Days” started playing. ♥ I might end up watching the drama as a result~~ The story might be a little cliche and somewhat predictable… but it was still a nice watch regardless.
Definitely recommended for YUI fans. ;9
Now, the latter, is epic. There’s no true villain in the story, unless you count “autopilot”… There’s not really much of a dialog either, but the audience still understood /what/ the characters meant and that’s one of the greater aspects of the film. X33 The music might get a little repetitive, but in a really cute manner. (so it’s okay) The characters themselves were adorable as well. XD Like M-O, the little cleaning-bot. And of course, this film sends a very strong message: protect the Earth and I hope we will. But by 2110, who knows what would happen?
I definitely recommend Wall-E for anyone. I, personally, loved it. C:

Added a new section!
Welcome to my blog-thing. Here is my art. Enjoy?
Warning: massive fangirling. ;D
Edit// I’m thinking of adding a “Photograph” section… Of photographs that I’m fond of. They’re mainly of nature, so I don’t suppose there’s any harm in that?
Edit Edit// … New header. TWEWY THEMED! … It’s zetta sexy. ♥

Gurren Lagaan: Parallel Works
… ♥ Whoever thought of the brilliant idea of using the TTGL OST to make AU!AMVs of the series is a genius. The first of the lot, found here is gorgeous. 8D I can’t wait for moar because this makes me fall in love all over again with Gurren Lagaan. <3~~
I’m only disappointed that there were hardly any mechas in this one. D: But I still hope that someone would do a highschool!AU!! XDD

Intro to Ragnarok and Chrona
Ahhh, Soul Eater.
There’s a mystery about Chrona. One that nobody really knows the answer to: Is Chrona a girl or a boy? She could be a girl because: her clothing looks something like a dress; she has semi-longish hair. Or.. He could be a boy because he says “Boku” — a normal way for guys to say “I”; when he first met Maka, he states that “He’s not very good at dealing with girls”. (or something along those lines).
There’s probably more evidence as well, but for now, it’s really hard to say. :9 Personally, I always thought he was a she.
But either way, the first actual arc to Soul Eater has begun. Medusa’s infiltrated Shibusen, Chrona is aiming become the Demon God (Kishin), Ragnarok is known as the demon sword. :3 Mymy. And then.. Next episode is about the Excalibur. XDDD I’m not really sure why that’s even there in the manga . It’s like manga-filler, because it doesn’t exactly relate to the main plot at all… I think.

Play with a smile, goddammit.
Today, we played against Encinal in Alameda. Our school won. Surprisingly. Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun playing. I think that might have been the most fun I’ve ever had playing badminton. .. Maybe. I think I also enjoy actual competitions against schools, but this came out to be extra extra fun.

Sechuan, China
It’s scary… To think that such a high magnitude earthquake struck and killed so many people in the eastern hemisphere. … Can’t help but just think about what would happen in the future.
There was a story about a girl, who was on the second floor of her school, lying next to the dead body of her classmate. She was still alive, even after two days, but I’m sure being there next to the dead body of someone you know must have been very traumatizing. D:
…One thing that absolutely makes me sick though are the news reporters for this disaster.
There was a girl was stuck under the debris. She was calling out for help and it took the rescue team a while to find her. I suppose the news reporter was there when she was discovered; because he went over to where her voice was coming from, and asked her all these useless questions (like “How are you? How long have you been there? What happened? Are you hurt?”) while she was saying the entire time, “Mister… Could I have some water please..? Please Mister. I haven’t eaten for a long time…May I have a cup of water?” It was disgusting. Stop asking questions and give her a damn cup of water!
On a lighter note: Legalized Gay Marriage in California!! Yay for liberals. ;D

The World Ends With You
….Also known as Subarashiki Kono Sekai, “this wonderful world”.
*random theme music?* Another squeenix game in my possessions! ♥ ♥
Of course, I have yet to actually play it– because I know that if I do, I’ll never finish Final Fantasy XII for DS. — But I’ve been eyeing this game for a while, long before I realized US licensed it and would be importing it. Why? Because the character designs are similar to KHs (since both games have the same design team, but still). I first saw the game through a fanart, hahaha, and it obviously caught my attention.
So, now, I have to beat FF12 and get on with it. D:< even if it is sitting on my desk… provoking me. ;_;

And it’s over!!
… It’s over. It’s over. Thank goodness. ♥
Btw, I went to Angel Island for camping yesterday. The major highlights (or rather a short summary?), in order, were: getting lost, missed the ferry, but somehow still managing to make it there; torturous hike proving how out-of-shape I am; going to the beach and poking dead jellyfishes; getting the fire started and failing and making dinner: hot dogs; sunset; roasting S’mores and burning marshmallows; whipping each other with glow sticks; believing that the chimney of an abandoned house looked like a man, i.e. chimney man; running from mysterious forest manimals (a raccoon?) while trying to get water; getting our marshmallows stolen by raccoons D: ; sleep-talking; star gazing; passing out; waking up and leaving.
.. We did a lot. Kinda sorta.
