Geez, how many people die in this game!? Major and minor characters would amount to a gigantic number, I assume. But let’s go over the names of the major characters who died so far: Tellah, Yang, Cid… Did I miss anyone? Well, those are the people who’ve died recently.

I also have to agree with many other reviewers and players: Final Fantasy 4 has too serious of a plot for it to be sprites and little midgets running around. That’s why the FMV is greatly appreciated, but I still find that it’s not really enough…

The voice acting that they have for the DS is… mediocre, I suppose. They’re not great, that’s definite. But it’s not exactly bad enough to cause my ears to bleed either.

It’s a lot less simple than III, right now anyways. (This is a good thing) Final Fantasy III has way too many jobs and it makes reaching 100% seem almost… impossible. T-T (cry) Well, then again.. I bet IV would feel start feeling like that too eventually.

Okay. So, a bunch of my favorite anime series are going to be animated into a second season!! Those include: The upcoming Nodame Cantabile: Paris Chapter; the rumored The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi, which is not a second season but a whole new series by itself with the same characters (according to Newtype?); the leaked Full Metal Alchemist 2, name not confirmed; Tower of Druaga, which ended abruptly with lots of mystery left behind; and Shugo Chara, which would also be getting a second season (I think/hope?)

There are three male characters that are introduced from the start who can all have potential relationships with Amu: Tadase Hotori, Kukai Souma, and Tsukiyomi Ikuto.
Tadase normally likes gifts that are blue, with the exception of the spotted handkerchief that Kukai likes.
Kukai normally prefers the pink/”red” gifts, from what I’ve seen.
And Ikuto normally likes the black/shady looking ones, haha.

I’m not sure who the green presents are for. I’m not even sure who the fourth male character that you can court it. Then again, I don’t think I’m very far into the game.

It’s … mostly the same pattern throughout the game. You wake up. Play games with your Would-be self (Ran, Miki, and Suu). Go to school. End School. Buy Presents. Give presents. Defeat X Eggs. Earn Money. Repeat.

The main character, Luso, is the typical dense-and-hyper hero. He doesn’t seem to be the sharpest tool in the drawer, but to make up for that he’s energetic and enthusiastic.. He’s also somewhat fearless: he’s lost in another world and he’s not even all that worried. He reminds me a lot of Vaan and I’m not sure what I think of that.

Game play is not exactly what I expected. After playing TWEWY which abuses the DS functions, FFTA2 disappoints me somewhat, because you hardly need to bring out the stylus and the D-pad can get you basically everything you need. In fact, using the stylus during battles is somewhat troublesome. .. So why bother having the whole DS system? D:

… But if it’s BONES studio doing the production, I’m a little skeptical since they slaughtered ruined it the first time around. It’s hard not to get my hopes up when I’m all “OMGWTF” about this news. But I guess we’ll have to wait till winter to find out.

This really makes me want to crawl into a corner and cry. T__T

… Well, time to ACTUALLY replay the game, i.e. for its plot.. cry.
But I’ve managed to achieve everything else! Way too much free time?

I also bought an R4. :9 Waiting for it in the mail… So in the meantime, I’ll abuse TWEWY.
